Cette photographie est exceptionnelle car il est étonnant que ce lézard ait survécu à son transport clandestin en France.</p> <p align="justify">Son habitat normal correspond aux jungles de Malaysie, de Bornéo, de Sumatra, et des Philippines. Ils éclosent après six mois d'incubation. A la sortie de l'oeuf, les petits mesurent 25 centimètres et pèsent environ 20 grammes.</p>
